The following Sales Policy applies to all equipment and merchandise sold by Answer I.T., LLC. We sell equipment from a select group of manufacturers / vendors whose quality and standards have passed our tests.
All orders for equipment or merchandise must be paid for in full prior to Answer I.T. processing your equipment order(s). We reserve the right to cancel any order that is received by us. If your order is cancelled you will not be charged. In the event payment has already been accepted and has cleared, a refund will be issued promptly. If our selected vendors are unable to fulfill your order(s) and alternate sources for the product are not available, any payments received by Answer I.T., LLC which have cleared will be promptly returned to you. In the rare event Answer I.T., LLC places orders and makes payments to vendors for your items which are then not available, Answer I.T., LLC will refund your payment once we have received the appropriate credit from the vendor(s).
All products, equipment or merchandise ordered through Answer I.T., LLC is subject to the applicable Sales, Return, Exchange, RMA, and Warranty policies of the specific vendor and / or manufacturer. This information is available from the specific vendor(s) and will be provided to you by Answer I.T., LLC upon request. Answer I.T., LLC will assist you and act on your behalf to process any returns, exchanges, RMAs or Warranty issues you may have with specific items. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES will Answer I.T., LLC directly warranty equipment or merchandise nor shall we refund or exchange equipment or merchandise at our expense.
Answer I.T., LLC strives to fulfill your order in a prompt and timely fashion. As such, we are both subject to the ordering and sales policies of the vendors we select to fulfill your order. Due to varying cutoff times from our vendors, we only place orders Monday through Friday between the hours of 10:00am to 3:00pm Central Time. Orders requested after 3:00pm Central Time may be completed the following business day sometime between 10:00am and 12:00noon Central Time. We do not accept or place orders on the weekend. In the event of emergency orders, we will do our best to accommodate your needs; however, additional fees may apply.
Order cancellations are only accepted by telephone and are verified only when speaking with an authorized Answer I.T., LLC sales representative. We will make every attempt to accommodate your cancellation request if the order has not yet been placed to our vendors or if our vendors handling your order are also able to accommodate your cancellation request. Orders already processed for shipping may not be available for changes due to pick up by the carrier of customer choice. In this case, changes to your order will not be accepted and may require an RMA or item return which are subject to the specific vendors policies. Should this be the case, return shipping will be at customer expense, regardless of refusal of acceptance of shipment by customer. Refusal of package shipment incurs return shipping charges which WILL be billed to customer upon receipt of refused package.
Any orders delivered to you that have missing, damaged or incorrectly shipped items must be reported to Answer I.T., LLC within two business days. Answer I.T., LLC will work with the specific vendor on your behalf to correct the issue. However, Answer I.T., LLC is not directly responsible for these issues if dropped shipped to you directly from the vendor, or if forwarded to you from Answer I.T., LLC with the original packaging intact.
Configuration, project management and shipping and handling fees on returns, exchanges, and RMAs are not refundable. Configuration, project management and shipping and handling fees paid are for the work done by Answer I.T., LLC only to the original order / project management service and any additional requests for configuration changes and / or project management services will be at an additional cost.
By placing your order with Answer I.T., LLC for configuration services, project management service, equipment / hardware and delivery of equipment, merchandise or related project management services, I/we agree to all of the above terms and conditions. We further agree to hold Answer I.T., LLC harmless for any omissions or errors on this or any other page on this website. By submitting your order(s) or project management request, this signifies your agreement to the above.
Answer I.T., LLC only ships to locations within the United States. We only ship items which have been paid for in full.
We strive to ship all orders in a timely fashion. We are subject to the shipping policy of the vendor / manufacturer for orders we have placed on your behalf. Unless otherwise specified at the time of order, we choose the most economical form of shipping available from the vendor (typically UPS, USPS or FEDEX ground) either directly to you for drop ship items or to our Network Operations Center (NOC) for items that require configuration. You may make special shipping or handling requests at the time of your order and we will do our very best to work with the vendor / manufacturer to accommodate your shipping timeline.
Items which we may have in stock or that have been shipped to us for configuration / repair will be returned to you by FEDEX Ground unless otherwise specified. We only ship items Monday through Friday and do not ship any items on the weekend. Our cutoff time for ground shipping requests is 3:00pm Central Time the business day prior to carrier package pickup. Our cutoff time for express delivery is 10:00am Central Time the business day of carrier package pickup. Depending on the item(s) being shipped additional time may be required to accommodate configuration or repair and therefore may delay the shipment. You will be advised of this at the time of order or contacted if unforeseen delays occur.
You are responsible for all shipping costs. Any shipping and handling fees not paid for at the time of order will be billed to you and must be paid for in full within 7 business days.
Answer I.T., LLC tracks and insures all shipments, but you may pay for additional shipping insurance if you wish. All shipments require an adult signature upon delivery. Answer I.T., LLC is not responsible for delayed, lost, improperly delivered, stolen, or damaged shipments under any circumstances.
Refusal of package shipment incurs return shipping charges which WILL be billed to customer upon receipt of refused package.
Answer I.T., LLC shall not be liable for any loss of profits, business, labor, goodwill, data, interruption of business, damages related to the shipment of equipment or merchandise which has been ordered through our company.
By using Answer I.T., LLC's Purchasing Agent / Project Management services, I/we agree to all of the above terms and conditions above. We further agree to hold Answer I.T., LLC harmless for any omissions or errors on this or any other page on this website. By submitting your order and / or shipping request, this signifies your agreement to the above.
Please review our Return and RMA policy before returning any items.
All returns and exchanges must first be issued a RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) from Answer I.T., LLC prior to returning any items. After an RMA number has been issued you must return the product in accordance with the instructions provided in conjunction with the RMA number. The RMA number MUST be clearly written on the outside of the box or risk being refused. Items accepted without an RMA number may be assessed a $50 RMA research/liability fee.
All products being returned for credit or exchange must be returned in their original packaging with all software, power units, cabling, manuals (if provided) and other items intact, or else will we will not be able to work on your behalf with the manufacturer / originating vendor. All items are subject to the return, exchange, replacement, RMA and warranty policies of the vendor from which Answer I.T., LLC purchased the product on your behalf. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES does Answer I.T., LLC warranty any equipment or merchandise it ordered on your behalf nor will we exchange, return, replace or refund any equipment or merchandise at our expense.
Once we have received your RMA shipment, we will promptly contact the vendor / manufacturer on your behalf to process any applicable replacements, exchanges, repairs or other services covered by their warranty. In the event the vendor / manufacturer refuses to replace, exchange, repair or provide other services allegedly covered under the warranty, Answer I.T., LLC will promptly notify you and return the item(s) to you. You are responsible for the costs of all shipping, restocking fees, repair fees or other charges / fees the vendor requires for the applicable transaction. Answer I.T., LLC is not responsible for the cost of these charges, as we are simply passing along the charge from the vendor / manufacturer.
Please package your return item in a shipping box with appropriate packaging. If you are not sure how to package an item for safe shipping, please consult a local shipping company or an Answer I.T., LLC representative. Product being returned in an envelope or with insufficient packaging will be refused and your warranty WILL be voided. Please write the RMA number clearly visible on the outside of the shipping box before returning it to Answer I.T., LLC. Items inadvertently accepted with insufficient packaging will be inspected and if found to not meet packing specifications, warranty will be VOIDED and item returned to you at your request.
All electronic components that are not installed and secured in a metal or plastic indoor or outdoor enclosure MUST be returned in anti-static bags. If you fail to return an item in proper antistatic packaging, all warranties WILL be VOID with NO exceptions.
Vendor / manufacturer warranties do NOT cover direct or indirect lightning damages such as common surge damages or other force majeure events or improperly maintained equipment. In some cases we can offer repair services on these items, either directly or extended from the manufacturer. Answer I.T., LLC will be more than happy to provide suggestions and recommendations on how to protect your equipment from damage. Please consult a sales representative if you have any questions on what you should use for your application for the best possible protection.
Advance Replacement RMA's may be used in some situations to assist you in limiting downtime of your network. Answer I.T., LLC may at certain times have new or used equipment which can be loaned to you while your equipment is being returned or repaired. We cannot guarantee the availability of any specific piece of equipment or item, but will advise you if it is available at the time you make your RMA request. In the event it is beneficial to you, we will preconfigure and ship the temporary replacement item before you return the defective item. We require a deposit on all Advance Replacement items prior to shipping. All Advance Replacement items sent to you must be returned in the same condition in which they were sent to you or you will be charged for the item an amount equal to your deposit and your deposit will be used as payment. All Advance Replacement item(s) must be returned within 30 days (unless otherwise noted in writing) of its shipment date or you will be charged for the item an amount equal to your deposit and your deposit will be used as payment. If you return the Advance Replacement item(s) per the terms outlined above your deposit will be promptly refunded. You are responsible for all shipping charges involved with Advance Replacements.
By requesting an RMA, I/we agree to all of the above terms and conditions of the return. We further agree to hold Answer I.T., LLC harmless for any omissions or errors on this or any other page on this website. By submitting your item(s) for return, this signifies your agreement to the above.
All hardware warranties are provided directly by manufacturer. Any returned items will be subject to restocking fees and return eligibility based on manufacturer / distribution policies and are to be paid by customer including applicable shipping costs. Any RMAs for items under warranty will be coordinated by Answer I.T., customer is responsible for any shipping costs associated with RMAs)
